The American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) is an anti-discrimination law for individuals with disabilities and a national mandate to provide access to all aspects of American life to people with disabilities.

It is the policy of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh to provide reasonable accommodations for qualified persons with disabilities who are employees or applicants for employment.  The Office of Equity & Affirmative Action provides services for applicants and to current UW Oshkosh employees.

If you are an applicant, and need assistance or accommodations in the application and/or interview process because of a disability (physical or mental impairment), please contact the Office of Equity & Affirmative Action (920-424- 2296). Employment opportunities will not be denied to anyone because of the need to make reasonable accommodations to a person’s disability.

If you are a UW Oshkosh employee seeking accommodations for a disability, please view UWO’s ADA policy, and complete the accommodation request form. You may also contact the Office of Equity & Affirmative Action directly.

If you are a UW Oshkosh student, the Dean of Students Office provides disability services for students to coordinate reasonable accommodations. Our hope is that you will have the fullest opportunity to express your academic potential while integrating into the vibrant extra-curricular life of the University.
